Being a small charity, all of us here at NNCLT are volunteers and we rely on the generosity people give of their free time and hard work to help keep the sanctuary running in many ways.
Every morning between 9.30AM and noon, we have volunteers assisting with the cleaning of the sanctuary's main areas. The work involves cleaning litter trays, brushing down of the soft furnishings and mopping of the floors followed by a cuppa with the cats.
From time to time, generally in the warmer months, we have a good sort out of all our donated stock that we have on sale in our recently launched charity shop. This helps ensure we have a good rotation of stock and a good clear out of anything no longer suitable for sale.
We are always welcoming of an extra pair of hands to run a stall or assist with our refreshments at one of our fayres.. have a look at our list of events for the forthcoming year to see if you are free for any of the dates and we can pencil you in!
A lot of time and effort goes into our fundraisers to ensure they are as successful and enjoyable for all. Support and leadership in this area is particularly sought after.
Any help with maintenance of the sanctuary grounds and buildings is very much appreciated and sought after to ensure everything is tidy and in good order.
